Uudee’s Swashbuckling Dandies are Mongolia-based collective with a transcendent, diverse, and free-spirited approach to music. Established in 2018 & led by Uudee himself who is a vital figure in Mongolia’s modern music & fashion scene, spearheads their open-minded and daring sound dubbed as “Nowstalgia”. An experimental band that experiments with genres & sonic textures to their will.. effectively post-genre.

The album, NOWSTALGIA, is a captivating blend of nostalgia and new, meticulously crafted to perfection with no expenses spared. Mixed by Danny Reisch (Local Natives, Khruangbin) and Mastered by Greg Calbi & Steve Fallone at Sterling Sound. Each track resonates with a sense of familiarity, evoking memories of bygone eras, while simultaneously introducing innovative elements that breathe new life into the soundscapes.

Every note, rhythm, and melody has been meticulously crafted to create an immersive sonic experience that transcends time and genre boundaries. Uudee’s Swashbuckling Dandies are set to release their eccentrically kaleidoscopic, genre-defying & sonically mind-bending self-titled debut album in September 2024.

Notable Achievements:

• Formed in 2018 by Uudee (Singer/songwriter, producer, guitarist, pianist, audio engineer)
• Debut Album, “NOWSTALGIA” mixed by Danny Reisch (Khruangbin, Local Natives, White Denim), Mastered by Greg Calbi & Steve Fallone (John Lennon, Tame Impala, set to release September 2024).
• Previously was a guitarist/keyboardist/collaborator for Magnolian 2015-2018- showcased at 2016 Zandari (S.Korea), 2017 SXSW (USA), 2017 No Maps (Japan), 2017/18 Playtime Festival (Mongolia).
• Released filmed Live Session “Live at White Arch” in 2022- 4-track EP mixed by Riccardo Damian (Mark Ronson, YEBBA, Jorja Smith)
• Performed at Playtime Festival since 2019. With primetime slots at Mainstage 9pm Day 2 in 2022, 2023, 2024
• Attended Mix With The Masters May 2023 seminar in Avignon, France with mixing legend Tchad Blake (Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Peter Gabriel)”
