Currently serving as the A&R Manager for Offshore Music, Otep is a passionate advocate for Filipino independent artists, dedicated to nurturing and promoting the rich and diverse music of the Philippines.

Founded in 2016 by a blend of business minds and musical souls, Offshore Music is an independent record label championing the raw,the real, and the refreshingly original in Filipino music. Driven by initiative and imagination, Offshore Music provides an honest space of creativity and, above all, an avenue for quality music.

In June 2023, we forged a partnership with Sony Music Philippines, propelling Offshore Music to new heights while staying true to our roots. This has infused us with a newfound fervor, a renewed passion for the craft, and a determination to amplify the voices of Filipino artists on a global scale

    • At Offshore Music, we don’t stick to a particular genre. Though our decisions lead us sign mostly Pop, Indie Rock, Rock, Indie-pop, alternative, R&B and Soul artists, we’re not closed off to any genre.

WHAT I DO

  • I look for bands to perform at my shows (e.g. promoter, festival owner/curator, venue, etc.)
  • I help bands get booked for shows (e.g. booking agent, touring agent/manager, etc.)
  • I help bands sell their music (e.g. publishing, licensing, distribution, sync, ticketing, etc.)
  • I help bands develop their careers (e.g. A&R, producer, manager, etc.)

As the A&R Manager for Offshore Music, my primary role is to develop their careers. Venues and event production companies also reach out to me to book Offshore Artists for their shows. Also as an A&R Manager with experience in Music Publishing and Licensing, we also try to look and book opportunities for our artists.
