Hailing from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, JHin has been rocking the decks since 2006 and has opened & shared stages with the likes of Justice, Yellow Claw, Avicii, Alan Walker, Boys Noize, Far East Movement, 88rising… to name a few.

Apart from playing in big festivals such as Its the Ship, Future Music Festival Asia, Heineken Thirst & Good Vibes Festival, JHin has dabbled in fashion runway music by curating and mixing for numerous designers at the Berlin Fashion Week and KL Fashion Week.

Beginning as a career of passion, JHin is inspired by all the house parties back in the day as well as local peers that DJ-ed together. With a diverse range of taste, JHin’s sound moves from Trap to Hip Hop, to Future Bass to Jersey bangin’ tracks that makes for a mix mash of genre keeping the party going and good vibes coming.

Apart from his own music career, he is a partner at the talent management and artist services company, TONGTONG Asia, founded in late 2020.

TONGTONG Asia now boasts a fast-growing artist roster which includes the likes of hip-hop maverick Airliftz, singer-songwriter Lunadira and rapper-producer duo, GARD WUZGUT.

Founded by Old Head Jin in 2020, TONGTONG Asia is a boutique music company aiming to reshape the idea of what a career can and should look like for today’s independent artist. Based out of Kuala Lumpur, we strive to empower artists to maximize their potential, put their songs out into the world and get paid for it – all on their own terms.

Veering away from the pressure and rigidity of a traditional record label, TONGTONG Asia operates as a comprehensive support system for the cultural tastemaker-in-the-making with an eye on expansion. We work with artists in the fields of talent management, music distribution and publishing; freeing them up to focus on crafting their art and carving out their own space in the zeitgeist.

ROLLOUT Asia, our newly-launched marketing arm offers a full suite of services to fulfill the PR and marketing needs of all artists, labels and brands.

We scout for up and coming artistes and expose them to the current climate of entertainment industry. We also act as a consultancy for brands/festivals to curate shows.
