Based in Taipei Taiwan, I’mdifficult is a four-piece experimental pop band formed in 2018, consisting of Ernest (Vocals, Keyboards), Dotzio (Vocals, Synths), Eason (Vocals, Guitars), and Jason (Drums). Their music blends various styles and languages, reflecting the members’ diverse backgrounds and upbringings.
Their 2021 EP “25” achieved significant success, with over 2 million Spotify plays from mostly global audiences. Their latest debut album, “I’mdifficult”, released in November ’23, has thus far proved they are a band that continues to grow and elevate their sound. The music video for their second leading single, “Last Summer”, garnered over 100k views in less than 40 days and reached the trending videos chart in Taiwan.
When it comes to live performances, they have opened for international acts like “Men I Trust”, “Pearl & the Oysters”, and the Japanese band “hoon”. They will be opening for the British band “Mamas Gun” this October. With their successful seven-city tour in Japan and Korea in 2023 and three sold-out shows this year, they are kicking off a new series of performances abroad, playing in Japan, China, Indonesia, and Australia.
