About Globe Trotter

The Globe Trotter program was established in 2022 commemorating Festival Les Escales‘ 30th anniversary in order to highlight emerging contemporary music artists from around the world.

In the two previous editions (2022 & 2023), they collaborated with around ten international festivals where each festival offered a selection of artists from their region, which Festival Les Escales selected one or two artists per festival to feature on a dedicated stage – the Estuaire stage .

For its third edition in 2024, Tanayu from Indonesia was chosen to be featured amongst 9 artists curated from all over the globe.
