Grammy’s Next Gen Red Carpet

XTIE attended the #GrammysNextGen Red Carpet event in Los Angeles that celebrates the leading creators and professionals shaping the future of music – walking on the red carpet joining other creators, from TikTok’s most-followed creator, Khaby Lame, to singer/songwriter Lucky Daye and Mali-Koa and Leo Stannard of dance duo AR/CO to miniature charmer Kayden Alexander Koshelev, influencer Clawdeena (who was dressed like a futuristic devil), to actor Michael Epps and “American Idol” finalist Haven Madison, to name a few.

Grammy’s Best New Artist Spotlight Event

XTIE attended the “Best New Artist Spotlight” organized by the Grammy House of the Recording Academy, where nominees for Best New Artist this year joined in panel discussions. She also had the chance to meet Gracie Abrams and this year’s Best New Artist winner Victoria Monét

HOTEL CAFE

[Feb 7] XTIE has performed an intimate show at the legendary venue in the heart of Hollywood – The Hotel Cafe.

This is her first show in the US, followed by her fully self-produced album “APOLLO-23” including her Cantonese song “Field of Gold”

Dressed in athenaeum(m.), with accessories from PamyCarie, both brands rooted in Hong Kong, XTIE’s dynamic set proves her energetic performance from her album “APOLLO-23”, including her song “Skin” which caught the attention of the Grammy’s where she landed her first performance with Grammy’s Press Play Series last year. She also performed two unreleased songs “Lonely is a friend” and “Lost in Between” – a song collaborated with Finnish artist Anniina Timonen. Performed with LA based musicians Will Kast on guitar and Andrew Tachine on Drums.

XTIE said, “Being able to perform at the Hotel Cafe is a dream come true, a lot of my idols performed at the same venue and I can’t believe I’m able to play my tunes and also test out new songs with the crowd here.”

The iconic Hotel Cafe proved to be the perfect playground for XTIE’s rawly fantastical output to date – a legendary, historic hotspot known for hosting some of the world’s most iconic singer-songwriters, including Adele, John Mayer, Katy Perry, Coldplay, Sara Bareilles, and many more. This marks a significant milestone in XTIE’s career hailing from Asia and promises to be an unforgettable evening for music lovers especially in the independent music scene.

Women in the Mix

XTIE also attended the “Women in the Mix” where the Grammy’s celebrate women in music for their achievements and to remind the music world that there’s still much work to be done.
