My name is Patrick Connor, I am a British citizen living and working in Seoul, South Korea. I am the founder of a promotion/booking agency called Highjinkx (www.highjinkx.com) and an independent record label/management company, Beeline Records (www.beelinerecords.com).
Through Highjinkx we run international shows and tours in Korea and occasionally further afield across Asia as well. We have hosted headline shows in Korea for the likes of Joss Stone, Aurora, Mitski, Julien Baker, Hippo Campus, Coin, Suuns, Protomartyr and more. We also book artists for several festivals and events in Korea, including the Busan International Rock Festival (www.busanrockfestival.com). Through Highjinkx we run a project called Focus Asia (that aims to introduce the best talent from around Asia to the Korean market) and a tour exchange project that so far has seen several bands from the UK and Korea take part in extensive tour swaps over the last few years.
Beeline Records is an independent label/label services company through which we manage a couple of local artists and help several international acts with digital distribution and promotion of their releases in Korea. In short, we do a bit of everything.

Highjinkx is an independent live music promotion company based in Seoul, South Korea. We have several years of experience in producing, promoting and managing shows / events of all shapes and sizes around the Korean peninsula. We have quickly earned a credible reputation within the local scene as well as with leading international artists and agents, based on our communication, professionalism, artist relations, event production and promotion.
We always strive to support the local scene and pride ourselves on our reputation for introducing new acts to the Korean marketplace and helping to forge cross border partnerships, as such our shows feature some of the very best emerging and established talent from Korea and around the world. To date we have worked with international acts such as Joss Stone, Julien Baker, Protomartyr, Suuns, Chinese Football, Manic Sheep, Gym & Swim and many more. Closer to home we have put on shows featuring bands such as Idiotape, Seonwoo Jeonga, Car The Garden, 3rd Line Butterfly, ADOY, Wetter, Say Sue Me etc.
Our diverse team is made up of music lovers of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds. We’re music fans first and foremost. Above all we’re dedicated to live music and whether it’s exciting new talent, playing their first show at a 50 cap venue, or a national tour for an established star, we always do our best to provide an epic live experience for live music lovers, because we love what we do.
