With first-hand knowledge of the ins-and-outs of the ever-changing music industry – in general and Japan-specific – and a clear vision of how to help musicians further their careers, she hosts workshops on social media use, publishing, best booking practices, touring regionally and overseas, and long-term planning and goal-setting.

Tokyo Beyond Festival
The Tokyo Beyond Music Festival is a unique 2-day showcase festival that brings together on the same stages, independent and small-label artists from both Japan and overseas. The festival is not only a way for overseas bands to introduce themselves to Japanese audiences but a way for both domestic and international musicians to network, collaborate, and reach for their dreams.
The showcase festival is unique in that it is grassroots and organically run. There is no federal government sponsor underwriting the event. There are no major label executives dictating programming or direction. It is based on the collaborative efforts of independent artist managers, live music venues, small to mid-size labels, community event coordinators, as well as other interested supporters.
